This park is located about 12 miles from our home and is a
great place to get away for a weekend trip. We stayed here October 15 thru 17
and enjoyed great fall weather. Our site #49 was great with lots of room. We
enjoyed camp fires two nights and did lots of biking the trails in the park. The
fall colors were presented with the trees in full color.
I think we biked about
20 miles during our stay here.
We didn’t travel and camp as much this year because we were
downsizing and needed more time at home. See the previous post for our
downsizing efforts. The weather also played a big part as we had lots of rain
through late June.
