Left Lake Elmo Reserve park at 8:07 and used I-94 to travel to Fargo, ND. When I was in South Dakota in 2015 I didn't travel to North Dakota. So we added another state to the RV map as we entered North Dakota. We were both surprised at the flat land as we traveled in Minnesota along I-94 and it reminded us of northern Indiana topography.
We stayed at Lindenwood campground site 16 along the Red River. Nice campground with views of the river. Traveling in Fargo was difficult because of road construction. After setting up camp we journeyed to the Fargo visitor center then on to the Heritage Hjemkomst Interpretive Center.
This center had a lot of Scandinavian history and on display was a Viking ship along with a Stave Church just a short walk from the main building. We also enjoyed the WWI exhibit on the lower floor.
Colorful Buffalo statue on the way to the campground
Viking Ship built in Fargo and sailed to Scandinavia
Rudder along the side of the ship

These carvings made Sherry happy!!
